INFORMATION |

Training Classes
will begin January 7, 2008. OCC is offering seven sessions in 2008.
Class size is limited to no less than 4 and no more than 12 students. Additional classes will be
added, if needed, to accommodate our students. Each session consists
of a variety classes. The cost is $75.00 per student/dog team.
Agility
Classes are limited to 8 students per class. The fee is $85.00.
We do offer a $10 discount on consecutive classes taken with the same dog.

In this class the relationship between
handler and dog really begins to develop. You and your dog will
continue to improve sit, down, come, stay, heeling, etc. Dog-handler
teams develop skills needed to progress to the exciting performance
classes, such as Canine Good Citizen, Rally, Obedience and Agility.

This class is for those who would like
to earn an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification on their dogs. This
is for dogs who have completed beginner obedience. The class is designed to prepare the
human/dog team for the Canine Good Citizen test, which is
administered at the 6th week.

For dogs over 12 months that have
successfully completed Beginner Obedience with a reliable sit, down,
stay and come.**Handlers/dogs will learn how to safely and accurately
execute each obstacle.
** If you’re not sure if your dog can meet this requirement, then
bring him/her with you to registration. Our Agility Instructor will
evaluate your dog’s readiness for Agility. If he/she’s not
ready, we’ll point you in the right direction to get you started
in a rewarding and successful Agility partnership together. Dogs
starting class who do not meet this requirement will be moved to an
obedience class to ready him/her for Agility.

Rally-O class: completion of any OCC class or successful
evaluation for walking on a loose lead, holding a 1 minute sit/stay
holding a 3 minute down/stay. |
